REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Climate ResilienceHow could better walking infrastructure make your city both more enjoyable and more equitable?
Dominick Calia 4/28/2021 7:18 PMWell the more natural something is the more stimulating it is to our brain from the pure naturality of humans, plus things that are on cement paths wouldnt be there if we used rocks or just dirt or other natural things, plus we wouldnt need drains since the ground is one big drain -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryWhat did you learn about the climate impact of refrigerants? How do supermarkets contribute to this impact?
Dominick Calia 4/28/2021 7:14 PMThere are carbons molecules that break down in the refrigerator which harm the ozone, and supermarkets contribute by having you store food in your fridge so it can do the greenhouse gas making process -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryWhat concerns you the most about how we are affecting the planet? Consider both local and global actions.
Dominick Calia 4/28/2021 7:09 PMWell the amount of waste just laying around is definitely concerning especially because I don't see people stopping anytime soon, especially with our population number rising by the year -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Climate ResilienceHad you ever heard of biomass technology before you took this challenge? What did you learn that surprised you? Share your new knowledge with your friends!
Dominick Calia 4/28/2021 7:08 PMI didnt, and i was amazed that 60% of carbon is extracted in the process of the machines used -

REFLECTION QUESTIONLand SinksAs you learn more about the scope and seriousness of the environmental challenges we face, what impact does that have on your thinking and actions? What are the parts that feel overwhelming? What parts help you feel hopeful?
Dominick Calia 4/28/2021 7:05 PMWell its interesting to learn how the Earth works and how its always doing things like this, but knowing its natural helps me feel hopeful -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricityWhat does your vision of a sustainable community look like? What would need to be changed in order for such vision to become reality?
Dominick Calia 4/28/2021 6:17 PMMore money be invested into the Biogas which will result in a good outcome profit -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand SinksHad you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?
Dominick Calia 4/16/2021 11:35 AMI hadn’t but I think the best thing about it is the cows being healthier which is also better for us because if the meat we eat comes from something unhealthy the meat will be unhealthy which makes us unhealthy
