REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. How would you rather use this money?
Kaili Broussard 4/14/2021 10:26 AMJust printed a Food Waste Diary for my family. My kids need to see to believe so I think this will help us reduce our food waste.-
Stacy Strickland 4/14/2021 2:19 PMI love this! There are a lot of recipes out there for food items we normally don't use... like cauliflower leaves, broccoli stems, banana peels, etc. Perhaps your kids can help pick out some recipes once they see what's happening!
