REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use CompostingProducing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?
Amber Barnes 4/15/2021 8:32 AMWhat motivates me to change my behavior regarding food waste would be the hours of labor. There are people who work very hard every day to plant and harvest food and when it goes uneaten it means someone went through all that labor for nothing. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Calculate My Carbon FootprintWhat stood out to you most about your carbon footprint? What surprised you or sparked curiosity? Where can you take most immediate action?
Amber Barnes 4/05/2021 6:57 PMWhat stood out to me most was that my foot print was 13% worse than the average. What surprised me was that our home category was bad, we have all led lights, we keep minimal amount of lights on and rely on our windows, and we unplug every thing when we leave on trips. The category I can take the most immediate action on is with transportation, I could do more carpooling and making my appointments in the same day so I do not have to make multiple trips.
