I spent time on a farm learning about sustainable grazing practices this past weekend.  Learning about how our actions can not only impact but improve the landscape was a humbling experience, we can do good if we put in a little effort.  Putting in the effort and appreciating the places we have available to us I think helps us connect and understand why it is important to protect our surroundings.

Mindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How does your eating experience differ when practicing mindfulness?

When eating mindfully, I definitely feel more calm and a reduction in stress level.  Having a moment to let my brain wander or shut off for even a few minutes has been a positive experience.

What are the factors that influence your choice of transportation? These can include things like money, time, and convenience, as well as perceptions of danger or safety. What would need to change for you to regularly choose more climate-friendly options?

Time and convenience.  Better, more easily accessible public transportation would need to be implemented for me to make a significant change to my actions.
