REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Climate ResilienceHave you ever had a significant experience in nature that altered your perspective or focus? If so, please describe it.
Jessee Altieri 4/08/2021 1:45 PMWhile growing my own veggies/herbs, I've learned to train plants to get higher yields on things like tomatoes. While doing this process I was super scared at first, as I was growing plants from seed (which is an amazing experience in itself!) and I was afraid to kill them. I mean, I've do so well up to this point! However, I went against my judgement and after research I decided to mangle and cut them up, only to bear more fruit! It reminded me of a phrase that I learned in middle school "Tap water builds character". This has changed my perspective so much in life, no matter what is thrown in your path, it's simply a learning opportunity to grow, and change. One of my favorite artists said it best;
