Meat is so bad for your body! I have been vegan for over 10 years now, due to dietary AND ethical reasons. Expensive meat dishes are socially equated with social status, bc rich people want to eat rich (expensive) food. It is a status that needs to be "squashed!"

I would like to see composting pick up as part of trash/recycling pick up in the community. the compost could be picked up by community members for a small fee to use in their garden to offset the cost of running the community compost.

I have worked with DBE's and women-owned business through work in the contracts we strike with subconsultants. I will research local women-owned businesses in the greater LA area to further support them and our local communities.
