Walking helps me connect with my community. I have enjoyed how many people love saying hello, even while we are all social distancing at least due to covid restrictions. While walking I have learned to recognize a smile on someone's face by looking at their eyes and not their mouth. I have also learned to listen better to hear a person's happiness or even their sorrow the tone of their voice. Walking in my neighborhood is a joy and I love smelling the roses with my neighbors and a few bees on occasion.
